I've been a tireless advocate for gay rights and gay equality for as long as I've been politically active. My name is Link, and I've been disgusted by this societies treatment of people who are different. Matthew Shepard's death horrified me, and that was my call to arms. Obviously I've not been at this site for long, but I have been at the fight on the internet for a while. You can find me often around the internet on political sites (in fact, I'm a member of "God's Hitlist" on the satirical site shelleytherepublican.com for my support of gay rights) advocating equal rights for gay people.
On a more personal note, I'm not gay, but I have a heart to know that people different than me deserve the same that I do, and I won't stop my fight till it's achieved. A friend of mine once was almost killed for being bisexual and dating a girl, I promised her from that day forward that I'd fight for a world in which this kind of needless suffering would never happen again, and although it's impossible, I won't ever stop so long as I have a living breath in my body.
